I got this
lipstick a few weeks ago and was so excited first of all to find a stockist so
close and secondly because I have been lusting after this product for so long.
A friend
recommended this brand to me last year but mostly I was sold by the
packaging!!!
So here’s my
review:
Shade 15
Formula:
Guerlain say “Exceptional

perfectly smoothed, moisturised and plumped up. For excessively perfect lips!”
This was a
rich creamy texture which feels really nice. 10/10
Staying
power:
This shade
is neutral and a bit translucent, one of the reasons I choose it as a neutral
lippie so it does require a bit of reapplication throughout the day but overall
quite good staying power! Also any excuse to whip it out and show off the amazing
packaging!! 8/10
Packaging:
Ok 10/10
with the built in mirror this is the best packaging I have seen in a long
time!!
It is a bit
bigger than your regular lipstick, but it’s worth it.
Smell:
They say: “The light, delicate scent of a vanilla "floriental"
leaves its incomparable mark on Rouge G de Guerlain. Top notes sparkle with a
lemon, orange and bergamot accord. The rose and iris heart exudes sweetness.
The vanilla and tonka bean dry-down gives Rouge G all of its intensity.”
In short it smells lovely! 10/10
Price:
This set me back €42 (£30.51 or
$46.96) it is a bit pricey but we all deserve a splurge every now and again so
why not.
Overall I love this
product and would like to get more colours but it is a treat at the moment so
we’ll see!
